About Deep into Space
Deep into Space explores one question from every angle: how do you build a planet?
Instead of listing facts about the planets one by one, we follow the process nature uses — gathering dust around a young star, choosing an orbit, forming a core, adding air and water, becoming habitable and surviving for billions of years. Real planets in our solar system and beyond become case studies: what went right, and what went wrong.

How we write
Our articles are based on published information from space agencies and research institutions, including NASA, ESA and major observatories. Each article lists its main sources. Where scientists are still debating something, we say so rather than presenting one idea as settled fact. Planetary science moves quickly, and we update pages as new results come in.
The 3D views on this site are stylised: distances and sizes are compressed so that everything fits on one screen.
